European International School Ho Chi Minh City (EIS)

With possibly the most convenient location in Thao Dien, the European International School Ho Chi Minh City is the only boutique international school, set in lush garden surroundings, offering the International Baccalaureate (IB) continuum of studies for children aged 2-18.

Our vibrant, unified campus is a place where students, teachers and parents of all grade levels and different backgrounds interact freely with each other within a home-from-home, tranquil village atmosphere. EIS offers a truly diverse ‘melting pot’ of 40+ nationalities and global cultures, where students are encouraged to find their unique voice, to pursue languages, and to contribute to all aspects of school life.

EIS

Our passionate EIS teachers, with over 13 years’ average experience, are well-practiced in individualised learning methods. With a very low student-to-teacher ratio, particularly in the middle-high school sections of the school, students benefit directly from more frequent access to teachers.

EIS

Graduating IB Diploma students consistently achieve well-above the world averages, and have achieved acceptances into prestigious universities worldwide, often with significant merit-based scholarships. For the first time, all of our Class of 2020 achieved the IB Diploma, with 85% obtaining the challenging bilingual diploma.

EIS

EIS provides an outstanding world-class education for students, evidenced by our full accreditation status with the Council of International Schools (CIS), while also providing outstanding value for money.

EIS

Being a medium-sized school, EIS is large enough to offer a wide range of educational opportunities, while also being intimate enough to provide unique personal attention.

Curriculum

EIS follows the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme and offers Primary Years Programme (PYP) from Toddlers to Grade 5, Middle Years Programme (MYP) from Grades 6 – 10 and the Diploma Progamme (DP) from Grades 11 – 12.

Fees

For the 2020/2021 school year, tuition fees range from VND 229.6 million to VND 395 million (Early Years, ages 2 to 6); VND 462 million to VND 503 million (Primary, Grades 1 – 5, ages 6 – 11) and VND 525 million to VND 632 million (Middle and High School, Grades 6 – 12, ages 11 – 18). Fees can be paid annually, termly or monthly. The school has a partnership with a few banks which allow 0% interest rate by credit card payment. For more information please see this fee page.

A one-time, non-refundable application fee of VND 4.5 million is to be paid upon submission of the application form and before processing any placement assessments. There is also a one-time, non-refundable and non-transferable admissions fee of VND 20 million (for Toddler, Kindergarten 1 and Kindergarten 2), VND 40 million (Preschool, Grades 1 to 10) or VND 32 million (Grades 11 and 12) per student to be paid upon acceptance and enrolment.
