What can I expect for my teen?
This class focuses on movements that will keep the body functional, mobile, flexible and free from injury. It focuses particularly on mobilizing and strengthening your joints, alongside with assisting your coordination. Often, these aspects are neglected in 90% of fitness routines. Along the way, individualized postural rehabilitation is incorporated, but also seen throughout many of the exercises. The rehabilitative component of the routine focuses on very common imbalances caused by the expat lifestyle (video gaming, sitting, texting, lack of movement). The style of workout is inspired by gymnastic based strength training and Ido Portal’s ‘Animal Flow’ workout styles. While these exercises are not terribly demanding and can be completed by almost anyone, their simplicity should not sway anyone's decision to try them, as they are in fact extensively used by professional athletes around the world.
The class will be led by Giuliano, who is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, holding a bachelor degree in Biomedical Science and is a coach for competitive young swimmers here in HCMC.
