Aspiring chefs, sous chefs and hospitality industries unite! French Michelin Star Chef Jérémy Gillon will be presenting a free Master Class focused around the secrets of cooking with butter, right here in Vietnam. This course will be sponsored by France’s number one cheese and butter brand, Président, which was established in 1968 and is now available in 145 countries.
Throughout its 70 years in the dairy industry, Président has dedicated itself to the highest of standards, and continues to provide the best products for chefs around the world. This gastronomic exchange network is organised by Escoffier Vietnam, and aims to provide one-of-a-kind opportunities for students and chefs alike in hopes of mastering the art of everything butter.
The Master Class
Butter is a key ingredient in cooking across the world, and this unique experience will help attendees grasp the differences of pastry and cooking butters, whilst enjoying exclusive exposure to the culinary arts community. Many unknown techniques, as well as classic recipes will be shared by Chef Jérémy Gillon, and guests will get an introduction to the diverse capabilities of butter. You will get the rare opportunity to observe demonstrations on how to prepare hollandaise sauce, omelettes, and puff pastries. Chef Jérémy Gillon will be accompanied by one of Président’s sponsored chefs, who will assist in providing a deep overview of ways their techniques can improve any international cuisine.
