Wildlife At Risk (WAR) is a non-profit organisation based in Ho Chi Minh City. The group aims to ensure the long-term conservation of Vietnam's threatened biodiversity. Its Cu Chi Wildlife Rescue Station rescues animals that are confiscated from the illegal animal trade. The Station is the first multi-species wildlife hospital and holding facility in southern Vietnam. Inside, you will find displays illustrating Vietnamese biodiversity as well as a number of rescued animals.
Established in Saigon, WAR envisions a Vietnam of rich biodiversity where humans live in harmony with nature and wildlife. Many of Vietnam's endangered species are being driven to extinction by habitat loss, hunting, pollution and mostly, the flourishing illegal wildlife trade. WAR, staffed by experienced international and Vietnamese professionals, is committed to the long-term conservation of Vietnam's threatened biodiversity. Visit the Cu Chi Wildlife Rescue Station and buy a t-shirt to help save Vietnam's wildlife. All profits support rescue efforts.
