Tu Hieu Pagoda

This pagoda epitomizes the tranquil setting one expects of a Buddhist place of meditation and learning. On the slope of a sleepy hamlet, Tu Hieu was founded by Zen master Thich Nhat Dinh in 1843. It was financially supported by eunuchs in the imperial court in the latter part of the 19th century and their graves are ensconced within its grounds.
