Scuba Diving Centres in Vietnam

DiveMoving like a spacewalker, under water. That’s just one description of what it’s like to scuba dive.

The popularity of diving is exploding in Vietnam, a country with an impressive coastline of 3500 km and turquoise waters surrounding Phu Quoc, Con Dao and the islands off Nha Trang. It’s easy to see why more and more recreational and professional divers are choosing to explore under the water in Vietnam.

Diving conditions in Vietnam depend on the time of year. From November to April, the island of Phu Quoc sees optimum conditions. The waters off Nha Trang, including Whale Island, are good all year but best dived from March to October. Con Dao (sea conditions permitting) the best weather between April and September. No matter the time of year there is always somewhere to go diving in Vietnam.

Many diving centres encourage you to learn the theory of scuba diving online before you fly to Vietnam or head to one of the country’s diving locations.

The south coastal city of Nha Trang is considered by many to be blessed with Vietnam’s best diving conditions – it’s no Nha Trangsurprise that most of the dive centres listed here have their headquarters in Nha Trang. Some of the famous dive sites around Nha Trang include Tiger Wall, Debbies Beach and Seahorse Bay. Underwater scenery in the waters of Vietnam includes corals, rock formations, pinnacles, fish, eels, nudibranches (soft-bodied molluscs), turtles and, occasionally, sharks and manta rays.
